Development of external trade and in particular exports is among the effective factors in economic Development of any country. This, in addition to economic growth, can raise competitive capability of any country in international arena.
In 1997, the State Council of General Culture designated October 21 as the Day of National Exports in the Islamic Republic of Iran to demonstrate the national determination of the government and people to promote non-oil exports and economic growth. Selection of one day of the year as the National Day of Exports would play a significant role in export culture in our society. As a result, Iran Trade Promotion Organization annually celebrates the National Day of Exports in the presence of H.E. the president of Islamic Republic of IRAN in an attempt to develop public export culture, encourage exporters and commercial and economic activists and prominent export agencies.
